I'm not much of a cook and as a working mom, I don't look forward to make something. But the idea that I'm getting gift and now I have to make something sounds a bit rude. I have been to many baby showers and honestly I don't care what food they serve or how much they spend of the baby shower or what's party favors, etc. Well, I found out today the baby shower is potluck. I know they just moved to this area and won't get much hand me downs so I spent little more on the gift than usual($100) and we are lending them some baby items as well. We got their gift from their Amazon registry and I even bought a small extra gift for my son to take and give to them personally. I hung out with the couple a few times and I'm really happy and excited for them. My husband's coworker is expecting soon and they are throwing a baby shower this weekend.
